The beauty of Botox® Cosmetic is that it is a simple, non-surgical treatment administered by our skilled physicians.

Botox® Cosmetic temporarily relaxes the targeted muscle group to help smooth moderate frown lines between the eyebrows, horizontal forehead wrinkles and crow’s feet around the eyes.

With only a few tiny injections, there are noticeable improvements within 3-5 days.  Over the next 10-14 days your Botox will be fully working and you will have a smoother, softer looking complexion.  Results typically last up to 4 months (results may vary.)

Discomfort is minimal and brief.  Most patients compare the sensation to a pin prick.  There is no recovery time after your treatment.

Gradually your Botox will wear off and you will be ready for another treatment.  Repeated treatments will give you the maximum benefits and longer lasting results.

Botox® Cosmetic is FDA approved and is a safe therapy.  Dr. Snyder and Dr. Schappell are board certified dermatologists and were the first to administer Botox Cosmetic in our general area.

The use of dermal fillers is revolutionizing the approach physicians take to enhance the face and give a more youthful appearance.

The Restylane family of dermal fillers are replacing the invasive surgical procedures traditionally used the correct similar aesthetic problems.

Restylane, Restylane Silk and Restylane Lyft are a family of soft gel fillers made of cross linked hyaluronic acid, which is a natural occurring carbohydrate that works with body’s own collagen.  There are no foreign or animal elements to this natural material.

  • Restylane is for treating the nasolabial fold, the crease between the nostril and the corner of the mouth. Restylane is also used for wrinkle correction and lip enhancements.
  • Resylane Silk is a subtle and smooth dermal filler, designed for meticulous and precise lip definition and fine vertical lip lines.
  • Restylane Lyft is for shaping facial contours, correcting deep folds of the chin, better known as the marionette lines, which sometimes turns down the corners of the mouth. Restylane Lyft also achieved better volume for deeper nasolabial folds.
